Is there any way to get Memotoo to apply the default category chosen in the calendar settings to apply to events coming in from Blackberry/Funambol Sync? Have I screwed up a setting somewhere? The correct category/color is being applied to other calendar feeds...

Sorry it is not possible ... Why you do not define the category when you add the event in youy BlackBerry ?

Hi,

Because Blackberry doesn't have "categories" in the calendar, only in Tasks and Contacts.

Any work-arounds? like maybe putting something in the notes field like with iPhone and iCal apps have you do to create categories?

Ok Jo, now if you define a default category in the calendar settings, the events synced with your BlackBerry will have this category:
