I've just synced facebook, but don't want all these extra contacts that I didn't have before. Going through and ignoring 200 contacts is a bit time consuming. Is there a way of just syncing facebook details with contacts already in my address book?

Also is it possible to set a schedule for facebook syncs?

When you sync Facebook, you synchronize all your friends in Facebook the first time. After you can ignore some of them

Sorry to synchronize Facebook, you must do manually.

I have seen the "ignore" option for Facebook friends being mentioned a couple of times now.

I was wondering though HOW exactly is this done?

To ignore a friend:
1. Go the Facebook group and show the address book in Card view: https://www.memotoo.com/my-addressbook-and-contacts.php?rub=card
2. Click on "Ignore this contact during Facebook synchronization"

I rarely use the card view, that's why I never saw the ignore link before.
