Hi,

how can I make sure that I always use SSL to access my Memotoo account. At present I can access via https and http. I just want the SSL site.

When signing in to Memotoo just make sure you check the checkbox that says "SSL secured connection".
Off course this is not done automatically. I guess the reason for that is, SSL defaults to IP port 443 which may be blocked on some corporate firewalls or proxies, and surely Thomas wants his site to be available from members' work locations as well.

(Although I would agree immediately when you say blocking port 443 (outbound) is stupid, I have seen companies that do just that)

Maybe I am blind but I can't see that check box that says SSL at the login area.

I agree that only SSL would block many user for your mentioned reasons. But isn't possible to define a setting per user which allows SSL and nothing else?

Hi Christoph,
The checkbox I was talking about is by default 'hidden'. Next to the title ("My account") of the sign-in box is a small link that says "more options". When you click it the sign-in box is expanded downwards showing the following options:
- "Go To" combobox, allowing you to define a particular page you want to see immediately after signing in
- "SSL secured connection" checkbox, to view Memotoo through https (port 443)
- "Remember me on this computer" checkbox, allowing to be signed in automatically
