Hi,

Trying to set up a device I've used with Memotoo before, a Nokia N79.

There's one thing I don't understand: The sync profile on my handset is asking me for a remote database, and I've no idea what that is. It's not 'con', 'caltask', etc. but the database on Memotoo where my PIM data is located?

I've tried 'memotoo' & 'acurrie' but neither of them work. Can you help?

Thanks,

Hi

I have no idea what is happen ...
Normally the remote database name are:
- "con" for address book
- "caltask" for calendar + task
- "cal" for calendar
- "task" for tasks
- "note" for notes
- "pnote" for notes in text plain while syncing
- "sms" for SMS
- "bmark" for bookmarks

I figured it out, finally... It's my fault -- or more accurately, the fault of my Nokia.

Here's the screen that was giving me grief:

i eventually figured out that this is where I put the "bookmarks" database -- not that it's clearly marked or anything. :-/

Sorry for the false alarm. Maybe this will help anyone else with an N79 who gets confused when manually setting up their device.

FYI, I just registered with memotoo, and noticed that the provisioning SMS for my Nokia E75 didn't include the database for bookmarks, so I had to enter it manually (bmark).
