I'm trying to do lookups against the Memotoo LDAP interface from my VoIP server, for custom caller ID. I receive a string of digits for the phone number calling me, e.g. 4081234567. I never get any matches returned, so I tried the website search - and also got zero matches. If I have a number fomatted (408) 123-4567, it is returned if I search for any substring of the last seven digits (1234567, 456, 2345, etc.) but not if I search for the full number 4081234567.

I'm assuming this is a bug? and the same bug showing up in the web site search and LDAP lookups?

Ok Paul now you can search contact with this value: 4081234567
Now the chars "(" and ")" are ignored during the search.

A belated thank you for making that change. It's been working pretty well for me, though I recently noticed it didn't always find something that should have matched. I think it may not be finding numbers in 'Mobile' number fields. I don't see any obvious formatting differences (my phone numbers are mostly formatted as '(408) 123-4567')

Any idea why?
