My hourly sync is four days old. I tried to do a manual sync from the web site, but get this message:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'String could not be parsed as XML' in /var/www/memotoo/web/Zimbra-client.php:1223 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/memotoo/web/Zimbra-client.php(1223): SimpleXMLElement->__construct('

Please advise. While you're at it, please provide a better web access to settings for existing server sync. The web site is easy to set up a new sync and force manual, but not easy to to find the settings for existing sync.

Thomas - the original problem was that Memotoo had not synced with my Zimbra server in four days. The auto-sync had stopped. I went to the sync history page, told it to do a sync-now, and got the error message above.

The sync has occurred now, I assume you did something to fix that. I did not do a manual sync, it was already done.

I have no difficulty navigating to the sync history page. My difficulty is navigating to the sync SETTINGS page. At present the only way I can get there is from the home page, type zimbra into the "what can I sync with my phone" box, and it takes me to the Zimbra Server settings page. That is where I can edit the zimbra server address, username, password, and sync schedule. I suggest you add a link to the server settings on the sync history page.

Awesome! That's the perfect place for that button. I tried it, works good.

If you would like to touch up something else, on the Zimbra Settings page, the drop down list for sync period, each entry should not be plural. "every hours" should be "every hour". The same for "days" and "weeks". Not really a problem, just a grammar issue.

Hi,

i've switched from Gmail to my own Zimbra Server and want do sync my Facebook and Zimbra Contacts. But i've got exactly the same error. Didn't get the sync to run.
Could you please fix this?
