I almost managed to sync Memotoo with my Blackberry Playbook.

First off: As mentioned in an earlier post, the Exchange didn't work. I could set it up (without ssl), it would run without error but not sync anything.

I then set up cardDAV (Server address: www.memotoo.com:443) and it synced some of my contacts to the Playbook (complete with photos) while it ignored others. I set up calDAV multiple times and it is always the same contacts that are not being synced. I cannot see any logic in what gets synced and what not. E.g. some people in the company group get synced others don't.

I also set up calDAV (Server address: https://sync.memotoo.com:443/calDAV/) my appointments into a single category on my Playbook. This worked without a problem, but after a while (e.g. when I change from month view to week view or look at 2-3 appointments) the calender looses all appointments. This could be a bug on the Playbook...

What I noticed was the the server address needs to be different for calDAV and cardDAV. sync.memotoo... will work with cardDAV but not calDAV and the other way around.

I use the latest firmware for the playbook: 2.1.0.1526

I try to find the solution to synchronize PlayBook with Memotoo since some months but I have not yet succeeded...

- I'm agree with you, Exchange do not work and I think PlayBook has strange sync with Exchange... so I have forget to work this synchronization
- Normally CardDAV works fine(I have seen no problem), but you have problem ? Can you give a name of contact that is not synced ?
- For CalDAV, I do not understand why PlayBook remove all events after ask Memotoo if there is some changes ...

I hope found the solution soon.

I now copied all my contacts and appointments to google and synced my playbook from there via calDAv / cardDAV.
All contacts got synced and i could also sync multiple calendars without them loosing any information.
Is memotoo implementing the standards differently from google?

I'm very disappointed but I can not arrive to sync PlayBook CalDAV with Memotoo CalDAV.

So now for the moment you can sync the contacts with CardDAV:

Thanks for the swift reply. I have tried to use that server, but with no success. When I add a contact on the Playbook, it shows up on Memotoo, but none of my Memotoo contacts sync to my Playbook. Any suggestions?

My version is 2.1.0.1526. When I create a new contact on the PlayBook it shows up on Memotoo, but none of the contacts I have imported into Memotoo show up on the PlayBook. Any ideas?

Hi,

That is strange then. I have imported about 600 contacts, which all show up fine on Memotoo, but none of them sync to the Playbook. If I manually add a contact in Memotoo, or on the Playbook, however, it syncs those (but still not any of the the large number of imported contacts).

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Any news on this subject? I have the same problem, with 2 PlayBooks. Sync from the Playbooks to Memotoo works, but none of my contacts in Memotoo show up on both of the PlayBooks. Both have the latest software version 2.1.0.1753

I have tried with the last update 2.1.0.1753 and it works fine for me on my PlayBook...
I have deleted and added again the CardDAV sync with Memotoo and I can modify contact on Playbook and on Memotoo, and they are synced...

As I came home both playbooks did have the full address list,since I didn't remove the accounts. Thanks for this update.
