Problems with Synthesis SyncML Client Pro

Dir Sirs,

since yesterday, I use the Synthesis SyncML Pro client for Android. I have detected the following bogues:

1) I use two smartphones. If I delete an event on one of them and do a sync on both phones, the deleted event is not removed from the
second phone.

2) After a while, the calendar on both phones gets messed up in such a way that deleted events appear again after a sync, or some of the
events are duplicates. Furthermore, I get some events which have an "(EXDATE)" token in their names.

3) Repeating events with exceptions are not synced correctly. This is, the exception which is present in the memotoo web calendar disappears in the smartphone calendar. After the second sync

Cristoph,

I had problems with duplicate data, but with Android 2.1 and before I used Synthesis SyncML (I use the Standard version).

Ever since I use Synthesis I never had any more problems. Except that now on a new phone some contacts are being added to some new categories for some reason...

About syncing on two phones, it should work, as long as you sync on one phone and then on the other. Did you do a Normal sync or a Slow sync?

I suggest you ask the folks at Synthesis, as they are very helpful.

What model of phone and Android version are you using? Did you create the SyncML accounts on the phone via Synthesis or were they already there?

I hope you get it sorted out.
