Contact sync via CardDAV does not work on iPhone 4s

Hi,
I tried to sync my new iPhone with my Memotoo address book via cardDAV.
But the set up of the cardDAV account on the iPhone does not work. The error message says that a connection via SSL is not possible. I also tried to set it up without SSL but this does not work either. In this case the error message says that the account information could not be verified.
In contrast to this the set up of the calDAV account worked without problems. I also re-entered my password for several times to exclude a typing error.

I entered the following server for the cardDAV account: sync.memotoo.com/cardDAV/
SSL is on, port is 443.

Any ideas why the set up does not work?
