When I create an event in Memotoo and add guests I can send them an invitation. However the invitation mail Memotoo sends is just a regular e-mail with a .ics file attached to it. When opening this invitation in e.g. Outlook or Gmail it is no recognized as an invitation automatically because the format of the e-mail message is wrong. It is not according the iCalendar standard format.
Now even if you should use the attached .ics file from the Memotoo invitation it can not be added or updated correctly because the organizer field is not set.

Furthermore, when an invitation is sent from Outlook (2007) or Gmail and the message is opened in Memotoo's own mail client ("My E-mail Accounts") it is not recognized correctly as an invitation. If the invitation is sent from Gmail it seems Memotoo does recognize something, but when accepting it does not send the proper response to the organizer of the event.
This response should also be according the iCalendar standard format for other e-mail/calendar clients to be recognized.

It would be great if Memotoo would implement calendar invitation functionality according standards and not just use it's own interface.

I have updated the invitation feature and I think it will work better now
- in Outlook and i Gmail, the invitations sent by Memotoo are now compatible
- in "My E-mail Accounts", the email with invitation sent by Outlook can be imported in Memotoo and Memotoo send now a proper response to the organizer

Hello,

I have set up my Memotoo account in iCal (Mac os X 10.5 Leopard). It seems I can not invite people to meetings created in iCal belonging to the Memotoo calendars. When selecting "Add attendees", I can enter an email address manually, but the usual drop down list of Address Book names does not show. When I "send", Memotoo refreshes, but the invitation is not sent.

Any guidance ?

Sorry the invitations are only sent with Memotoo interface in "My Calendar": https://www.memotoo.com/my-calendar.php

In that case, I would like to request this. It only makes sense to invite people the way every client (Outlook, Thunderbird,...) understand it.

Using standards for this is much preferred over a personal/own implementation.
