Palm synced with Synthesis SyncML -> no tasksRSS Feed

I synced my Palm (Sony Clie PEG-TJ35, PalmOS 5.2.1) with the Synthesis SyncML STD. Internet access was via M-Router. In the Synthesis SyncML, I checked

- contacts (server path: contact)
- events (server path: calendar)
- tasks (server path: task)
- notes (server path: notes)

Contacts, Notes and Events were completely synced - but no tasks.

1) Is this a problem of the memotoo-server or of the Synthesis SyncML-client?

2) Different from the memotoo-explanation on syncing the palm, the Synthesis SyncML-client seems to be able to sync also notes from the palm

I use a PalmTX with Synthesis SyncML and never had any problems.

Check SyncML handbook (PDF) - can be downloaded from their site. The handbook describes each type of sync (slow, normal, etc.). The first sync should always be "slow", and is the default for the first time. After that, one will usually use "normal" mode. The other modes are for repair or specific situations.

Did the tasks disappear? Or did they simply not sync?

What does the SyncML log say? Any errors?

Notice that until yesterday there was a problem at Memotoo and nobody's tasks were appearing. This could be your case.

Also, the Tasks categories on the Palm will reflect on Memotoo, and vice-versa. Check if you're not looking at a category with no tasks.

By the way, I am not affiliated with either Memotoo or Synthesis. I'm just a user like you.

thanks for your reply. - The tasks did not sync at the first tries.

A few days ago and also yesterday, I tried again to sync. This time also the tasks were synced. - Everything seems to be OK now.

You said that there was a problem at Memotoo and nobodys tasks appeared. Therefore, I suppose the problem was on the side of Memotoo. Obviously the problem has been solved.
