Cannot sync with Nokia 5310

The data connection on your mobile? Wifi? Can you send/receive data on your mobile via other software? (eg internet browser) Can you try http as well as https?

I can receive/send other data with my phone (e.g. internet browser). I can even connect to memotoo: - Using a wrong login/password, I get an authentication error. - You can see from the sync log that my mobile phone was regocnised and was added to the list of sync devices. Having googled for a similar problem, it seems that some Nokia phones have a bug in their SyncML implementation.

Have you tried deleting the connecting settings from the mobile completely, and creating a new SyncML connection with the same settings? For some reason, this worked for me when I had an issue.

This is my workaround for my contacts database: You need: - an account at mobical.net - an account at zyb.com Export your contacts from memotoo.com as an vCard-file for Kontact or Evolution. Import this file at mobical an export it again. This will change something in the vCard. Then you can import it at zyb.com and synchronize your mobile device. (If I import my contacts from memotoo.com at zyb.com, only 113 contacts from 152 are imported.) It's hard to imagine, but even at mobical.net I've problems with SyncML. I retrieve only 21 from my 152 contacts on my mobile phone. Finaly zyb.com works for me. You can export your contacts from zyb.com and import them at memotoo.com. But you'll loose some data, e.g. URL(work). If you'll test this, remember to create a backup. I'll be not responsible for the loss of any data by this workaround. Last but not least: I haven't tested import/export a synchronization of calender and task data, yet. But as far as I know, SyncML works with mobical.net quite well. So, let's go ahead and keep on trying, untill we got new mobile phones.

Now it's corrected and sorry for the delay of this bug :-) The problem came from bad encoding WBXML data sent by Memotoo.
