I have both Memotoo and Kontact set to the time zone Europe/London.

Events sent to Kontact are 2 hours behind Memotoo - how can I get them to be the same time?

Problem solved - was an issue with Linux, not Memotoo.

Thanks again for Memotoo - it's a fantastic service.

I'm having somewhat the same problem, but I do have set the correct timezone, both for the local clock in KDE 4.1 as in KOrganizer. (Europe/Amsterdam, thus GMT+1, plus DST == GMT+2). After I entered a new appointment in KOrganizer, the time is displayed correctly. When I sync with my mobile, the time on the mobile is displayed correctly as well. But when I refresh the memotoo-calendar in KOrganizer, all times are "2 hours early". On closer inspection, the times are correct: they are just displayed in the UTC-timezone! The timezone for the appointments are "UTC" after the reload, instead of the original "Europe/Amsterdam". So the problem seems to be that the timezone for appointments is lost somewhere, defaulting to UTC.

Not a big problem, as the times are correct. Is this a bug in KOrganizer (v4.1.0) or Memotoo? Is there a work-around?

Actually, this is exactly what was happening to me - the UTC issue, and being 2 hours off the correct time.

I concluded it was a KDE issue - I'musing KDE 4.2, and its buggy. Interesting it also happens with 4.1 - its probably the same version of Kontact.

To be honest, I got frustrated with it, couldn't solve it, and swithced back to using Thunderbird with Lightning - which is as good as Kontact (IMO), and syncs without any issues.

I went back to Thunderbird/Lightning as well, and no issues anymore. In fact, I'm back to Windows - for now. KDE 4.1 just isn't mature enough yet
