What is the matching criteria? exact match on name fields? If the Facebook link custom field is filled in, will it use that for the match and ignore (or update) a difference in the name?

Voilà une fonctionnalité dont je rêvais depuis longtemps... La Synchro avec facebook en automatique ! Le rêve ! Malgré tout, la plupart de mes contacts facebook, qui étaient déjà dans memotoo avec leur nom/prénom complets ont des noms prénoms différents sous facebook, ce qui entraîne des doublons. En effet, même en choisissant de ne remplir que les champs vides, il peut se produire la situation suivante : exemple: jean-françois X sur memotoo, son compte facebook est: jeff X, et hop on en a deux. Bien sûr c'est inévitable, mais je propose la solution suivante : Si l'on supprime le nouveau contact jeff créé par la synchro facebook mais qu'on met le lien facebook dans le champ facebook du "bon" contact Jean-François sous memotoo, serait-ce possible de forcer alors à synchroniser les champs de "jeff sous facebook" avec "Jean-françois sous memotoo" ? (je sais pas si je suis clair ) Ou tout au moins, de tracer la suppression des contacts facebook que l'on ne veut pas voir apparaître dans memotoo pour qu'ils ne reviennent plus à la prochaine synchro. It's the name of field who is used. The Facebook custom link is not used because the Facebook API don't send it to Memotoo. Julien, je vais voir ce que je peux faire... Peux-tu m'envoyer par e-mail les noms des contacts Facebook qui ne sont pas trouvés dans Memotoo ??

That said, I do have similar thoughts to Julien. And I have an idea for a solution: 1. do not run a fully automatic sync across all contacts on the first run 2. provide an interface for users to confirm matches between facebook and memotoo contacts 3. store a custom (hiddden?) field on the memotoo contact containing the facebook name 4. sync contacts using the stored field 5. when users come back to sync again, let them choose to: a) sync previously matched contacts b) scan through facebook and memotoo again and repeat the matching process

Au lieu de compléter mes données, cela a complètement bouleversé mon carnet d'adresses. Mon dossier Amis existant a été remplacé et tous les contacts concernés par la synchronisation et qui figuraient dans plusieurs groupes ne sont plus maintenant dans ce groupe amis avec des données chamboulées. Je demande donc une restauration de mes données à l'état d'hier. Webmaster, si vous pouvez-faire ça au plus vite...? Merci d'avance

But as I say to Julien, now you can force to update a Memotoo contact by putting the Facebook profil URL in the Memotoo contact choosen. sebarbe, la suite par e-mail directement pour la restauration de vos données.
