I have a new sync on my android phone, that has many duplicates. The addressbook on memotoo does not have the same duplicates. What could cause this? If it matters, I am set for one-way sync from memotoo to phone.

Strange, may be you have shown an other address book in your Android phone and that's why you have duplicates.
