There is still no update to the funambol plugin, Maurus has said that he has little time and needs more people to be involved with the development - but I see little sign of this. It would be much better if Thunderbird would sync with syncevolution instead but although it can use Ubuntu1 on Ubuntu, this only syncs contacts. I do not see it is very likely that there will be a funambol upgrade very soon. At the moment, I am unable to use Thunderbird and don't think I will be able to use it again for the foreseeable future. Evolution 3.6.4 is extremely unstable on Linux Mint 15 and it is very difficult to upgrade Evolution. I cannot see any way to resolve these problems.

It's not the same that having your addressbook synced (and I do not know if it will work offline), but well...

Now i know what to do. I got thunderbird source from http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-esr24, and after hours i had the thunderbird SDK. Then i modified funambol sync fom http://source.maurus.net/funambol, and now i can compile it, but it dose not work Because i am only firm with c++, but not with thunderbird, i don't know how to debug. Thanks a lot Joerg, it does work, though only for addresses, not for Lightning (calendar and tasks), and obviously not on Linux, as you said yourself (I understand there are other possibilities to sync Lightning, but first I liked to have all in one, that is in Funambol, and second, I haven't seen a way to sync Lightning on TB24 that works flawlessly. Thomas, the link in Joerg's post above (01:18, on Nov, 20) connects you to the version working on windows.
